Groupa launches for welfare, susu and member loans

Groupa helps institutions, clubs and associations run welfare schemes, susu groups and member loans — every contribution recorded, visible and verifiable.

Groupa welfare scheme dashboard

Viaxar Technologies has launched Groupa, a new platform built for the way groups in Ghana save, support each other and lend to their members. Welfare committees, susu groups, staff associations, churches and clubs can now move away from notebooks and scattered spreadsheets to one shared, trusted record.

Many groups rely on one or two people to track who has paid, who is owed and what is left in the fund. When records are kept by hand, members often have to take figures on trust, and disputes are hard to settle. Groupa was designed to change that.

What Groupa does

Groupa brings the main group finance activities into one place:

  • Welfare schemes — record dues, track payouts for events such as funerals, weddings and births, and see the fund balance at any time.
  • Susu groups — manage contribution cycles, rotation order and payouts so every member knows when their turn is due.
  • Member loans — log loan requests, approvals, repayments and outstanding balances for each member.
  • A member register — keep an up-to-date list of members and their contribution history.

Transparency for every member

Every contribution in Groupa is recorded, visible and verifiable. Executives can produce clear statements, and members can see their own records, which builds confidence and cuts down on arguments over money.
